ADHD Assessments

Learn More About ADHD Testing

At Desert Foothills Mental Health, we offer ADHD testing for adults and adolescents using QbTest, a clinically validated, objective behavioral test.

What is ADHD?

Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is a common neurodevelopmental condition that can persist into adulthood. Symptoms may include:

For Adults and Adolescents:

  • Difficulty maintaining focus

  • Disorganization and poor planning

  • Trouble following instructions or completing tasks

  • Frequently misplacing or losing items

  • Feeling easily distracted or restless

With accurate diagnosis and treatment, many ADHD symptoms can be significantly improved.

What is QbTest?

QbTest is an FDA-cleared, computer-based assessment that objectively measures hyperactivity, impulsivity, and inattention. Results are compared to a normative group based on your age and gender and are compiled into a detailed report.

How is QbTest Used?

QbTest adds valuable data to the clinical evaluation process. While no single tool can diagnose ADHD alone, QbTest supports clinicians in identifying, ruling out, and monitoring ADHD. It can also help tailor treatment strategies based on your specific performance profile.

What to Expect

The test is taken on a computer and lasts 15–20 minutes. You'll press a button when certain symbols repeat. No reading, math, or language skills are required.
